Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
While I was pregnant with Isabella from months 1-7, I taught four intense yoga and pilates classes weekly and maintained a daily personal yoga and meditation practice. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I no longer taught yoga or pilates classes but spent the last two months in deep meditation, reflection, and self-care. This meant less vinyasa and more Kriya yoga, shorter yoga practices, but more frequent and prolonged Mindful Meditation practices. I have no formal training in pregnancy yoga, but I researched and studied pregnancy yoga for myself and then practiced what I learned. I had a very long labor (82 hours), but I birthed my baby vaginally, calmly, without meds, and with a sense of presence, strength, and gratitude for every second of my transformation into a mother. I have that to offer you. Everything I practiced. Everything I learned. Everything I experienced. I offer it all to you humbly and with love, affection, and respect.
